A Better Period For Our COVID Warriors

For World Menstrual Health Day, to help those who are helping us, Paint It Red in collaboration with Trucup, is running ‘A Better Period For Our Covid Warriors’ to provide menstrual cups to healthcare workers across India.

After healthcare workers went on record to talk about the difficulties of working long shifts in their PPE kits while menstruating, we were determined to take care of their menstrual needs to give back to our real heroes. Menstrual cups help them have a better experience with their periods as they can be worn for 10-12 hours at a stretch while allowing them to move freely. Let's do our part because, the pandemic doesn't stop for periods!

TRUSOCIAL, is a program for holistic change focusing on four pillars - menstruation, environment, sexual and reproductive health, and gender politics. Even today, most young menstruators remain unprepared to face their periods. We strive to bridge the gap in information available as conversations on menstruation remain elusive.
